The Insider #27: Irish Director Risteard O Domhnaill

On this week's Insider Podcast, we spoke to Risteard O Domhnaill, the director of landmark Irish documentary The Pipe. His latest work, Atlantic, tells the story of three separate communities in Norway, Ireland and Canada and the ocean that separates them. As well as focusing on the ecological aspect of modernisation on the ocean, it also shows how communities are affected by political decisions, oil exploration and over-fishing.

The Insider #26: Le Galaxie's Michael Pope talks Aliens

On this week's Insider Podcast, we talk to Le Galaxie's Michael Pope about the 30th Anniversary of James Cameron's Aliens. Released back in 1986, the film took the themes of Ridley Scott's sci-fi horror and turned it to a more sci-fi action bent. We discuss the impact it had, how Cameron handled the action and whether or not it still holds up thirty years on.
